These images are of most the radios used in IndyHam's radio shack!

bc210.jpg (88408 bytes)

This is one of the scanners used. The BC-210XLT has always been one of my favorites.

hx3000.jpg (88305 bytes)

This is an old HX3000 Scanner from Regency. I bought this for $5.00 at a hamfest and it was worth it. It did need a little fixing, but hey, it works now!

ic706.jpg (87143 bytes)

This is my "baby" of all radios. This is the IC-706 MKII model. As you can tell I listen to those pesky pirates every once in a while.........look for logs as a possible new section!!!!

johnsons.jpg (72969 bytes)

These two classics are Johnson Viking transmitter rigs. One is fully restored while the other is well on its way to being on the air. See the crystals in the bottom left hand corner? Well, those are dated as far back as 1943 all the way to 1951! Can anyone help me with trying to find a VFO for those rigs???? evalasek@iquest.net

maxtrac.jpg (88737 bytes)

I am not a major commercial rig owner, but I have to say that this Maxtrac 300 is one of the best and most durable VHF radios I know of. And yes....... it is type accepted for amateur radio. I also own a UHF Maxtrac and an 800 MHz Maxtrac which I have no idea what I am going to do with. Any ideas or info? evalasek@iquest.net

minitor.jpg (83493 bytes)

These little guys are old, but they are the original Minitor VHF pagers from Motorola. Can anyone help me find cheap crystals for these? evalasek@iquest.net

tnc.jpg (73548 bytes)

This is a TNC.......enough said.

trunktracker.jpg (95002 bytes)

Uniden did a great job with this little guy. It is the BC895XLT better known as the Trunk Tracker. I can't wait for the next model to be introduced at Dayton! Andy might have some info on the new model for ya! aeverhart@iquest.net

vcr.jpg (93248 bytes)

Everyone is probably wondering why I have a VCR in the shack...... Well, the purpose for this is for audio. This particular model was one of the best editing models in its day.

vingtage.jpg (85920 bytes)

These are two pieces of vintage tube gear that I picked up out of a junk pile. The funny thing is they both work. The black box on top is an antenna tuner made by a company called Lysco. The bottom is some kind of CW/Phone monitor for H.F. gear or something. It was made by Gonset and runs on tubes. Anyone have any info on these two? evalasek@iquest.net

Well, that's all for now. I have more coming soon!
